What makes working with you different?
I differ from a traditional nutritionist or dietician as I won’t give you strict rules or diets to adhere to, ask you to count calories, require you to weigh or measure portions, and I won’t eliminate any food categories.
I do not give meal plans or put you on a “diet.” Diets don’t work. If they did, we’d all be thin!
I’ve been in your shoes. I’ve been a yo-yo dieter and struggled with my weight and with my relationship with food.
I’m also trained and educated in nutrition to help you lean what works for best for YOU.
What is your approach?
There is so much confusion today around food. Every time you watch tv, read the newspaper, or search on the web there’s a new diet fad or an “expert” is telling you what to eat.
Carbs are bad! Carbs are good! Fat is bad! No, fat is good! Confusing, I know…
I show you how to eat real foods, for real people, and give you real-life solutions to weight-loss. No gimmicks, no tricks…just real honest-to-goodness info on how to eat the right foods for YOU.
You are unique. You are special. You spend your days running around and the last thing you want to worry about is what food to put into your mouth. I help solve that. I give you easy, quick, and realistic steps to make your life easier, better, and most of all — thinner.
Have you struggled with your weight?
YES. For many years I was a yo-yo dieter searching for something to end the diet cycle, get me back on track so I could look better, feel better, and be slim.
I spent YEARS eating low fat, low calorie, “healthy” foods. But I would lose weight, then gain it back. Then diet. Lose weight. Gain it back…you know how that goes.
I tried eating all the “good” foods and hated every minute of it. Eventually, I’d get so fed up that I’d eat half-a-gallon of ice cream, then feel guilty and beat myself up. Then I’d spend the next weeks (or months) punishing myself — I’d be back to eating my diet of cottage cheese, saltines, carrot sticks and salad.
Then…it would hit me. Overwhelming…
I’d tell myself I deserved a chocolate chip cookie. So I’d eat one. Then two. Then three…before I knew it, half the box of cookies would be gone! Then, I figured I might as well finish the whole thing. Yup, what started out as eating one cookie ended up being a whole box. Sound familiar?
I’d feel so good eating the cookies. Then feel so BAD afterwards.
The Guilt. The Shame. The Lack of Willpower.
And so would begin more days & weeks of eating right and “doing the right things.”
But then the “cookie monster” would come…and the yo-yo dieting. This roller-coaster was a nightmare…
I thought, “There’s got to be a better way!” ”Why can’t I be like all those other naturally thin women? What is their SECRET?”
And then, I found it !!
I lived in France…
How did you find the secret to weight-loss?
It hit me one day during lunch. I was eating a meal of homemade ravioli covered in a cream sauce, with a side of prosciutto, tomatoes and bread. The aroma and taste was overwhelmingly good.
I didn’t count calories, fat grams, or worry about what I was putting into my mouth.
What’s more – I had no guilt. I felt amazing – no guilt or shame for eating such rich and delicious food. Just immense pleasure of having a meal that was feeding my body.
It was a liberating and exhilarating moment…like I had been sprung free from a prison I had been held captive in for many years. No more counting, obsessing and worrying about calories or fats grams. Just eating and enjoying real, wholesome food.
And I did this for years, all without gaining weight. It wasn’t just what I ate, it was HOW I ate.
It changed my life and my whole outlook of “healthy eating.”
Since then, I’m happy to say I’ve never been on another diet. I now eat the foods I enjoy (which still includes cookies!) and have never looked back. All while staying slim.
Why the name “Eat Without Guilt?”
When I lived and worked in France I learned how to enjoy food — all food — and not gain weight.
Not only that, my attitude towards food changed and I no longer stressed about it. I learned how to enjoy it, without gaining weight.
I learned how to take pleasure in food and eat without guilt (even if I ate a few cookies). If anyone knows how eat and enjoy life – while staying healthy and slim – it’s the French!
What’s your attitude today towards food?
I love food and I love to eat – I really do! But I now know how to love food AND be slim.
I also don’t have any “forbidden foods” in my diet. I know how to eat the foods I love, while keeping the pounds off. And I teach my clients how to do that too.
What’s your education in nutrition?
I received my training and graduated from the largest nutrition school in the world, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, in association from Columbia University’s Teachers College, where I studied under some of the world’s most prominent authorities on health, wellness and nutrition.
Who are your clients?
I work with people just like you who have worked hard to get where they are in life, and probably had success in many areas, but there’s one aspect they can’t seem to control – their weight.
They want their joyful, gorgeous, sexy and confident self to come out!

But Dinneen, I’ve tried to lose weight before. What works?
The info out there on diet and weight loss is so confusing today. And with the “marketing tactics” companies use, we often THINK we’re making the right choice, but really are not.
If you’re not achieving what you want as fast as you want it, get support and a mentor. You probably need an outside perspective, a little refocusing, and someone to educate you and help you figure out what foods are good for you. Have an expert like me support you to get you to where you want to be faster and easier. When your actions, outlook and purpose are in alignment, everything falls into place.
